Do you have any special skills or training?

If you mean do I have any professional degrees or a black belt in judo, then no; but if you’re asking about life skills, then yes. I went to work right out of high school and ended up cursing my ability to type. Who knew it would come in handy when I discovered my passion for writing romance novels? Seriously, I always considered it a skill that at the end of the day my children were alive and dinner was on the table.

How would you describe yourself?

I’m a home-body who loves nothing better than a cup of tea and a good book, unless I’m able to have a lively discussion about politics or history with my family. There’s nothing like a dinner conversation that gets loud enough to dance water glasses across the table. I think of myself as someone who is hopefully, constantly evolving.

Who is your significant other(s)?

My husband of many years (we’re talking decades) and two grown sons, plus a daughter-in-law that I adore.

How would they describe you?

I think they’d say that I was fun-loving, supportive and hopefully, still interesting after all these years.

Tell us about your family.

In case you haven’t guessed, my family is the center of my universe. We’ve always been a close-knit bunch and try to spend time together even though we’re all very busy. An impromptu lunch or dinner is our idea of a good time. We’re big foodies and all of us cook. Some of my fondest memories are of our Christmas celebrations where we would see who could bring the worst B-rated monster movie to watch after we opened presents. Astro Zombies comes to mind but don’t ask me what it was about:)

What do you think was left unsettled in your story?

Nothing comes to mind. While His to Protect, is part of the Black Hills Wolves series and the novella is a stand-alone, I think it’s normal for readers to become interested in secondary characters. How many times have we all read a good story but there’s that one character that remains in the background that you want to know more about?

If you could change anything about your story what would it be?

I can’t think of anything that I would change.
